More Than a Carpenter

Recently, I’ve just finished reading a book entitled – More than a Carpenter. It is indeed an awesome book regards to Christianity. I am a fairly new Christian; the book had successfully answered most of my reservations on Christianity ( what makes Jesus so different, are the bible records reliable ..etc).

In the book, Josh McDowell(book’s author) thought Christian must be “out of their minds”. He perceives that everyone with sense knew that Christianity was based on a myth. The myth of Jesus Resurrection. Thus, he decided to challenge the religion. He starts with the bible, knowing that if he could uncover indisputable evidence that the bible is an unreliable record, the whole of Christianity would crumble. However, in the end, he could only came out with one conclusion: that the Old and New Testament documents were the most reliable writings in all of antiquity. Well, if the bible were reliable, how about Jesus in the bible? The author would share the core of what he had learned in his months of research through the book he written, so that we may see that Christianity is not a myth but a rock-solid truth.

In More than a Carpenter, the author focuses Jesus Christ, who changed his life. It is indeed a hard-hitting book for people who are skeptical about Jesus’ deity, Jesus resurrection, and Jesus claims on lives.

P/S : I don’t know about you, but my faith on Jesus Christ is getting stronger after reading the book ..  =)
